The Tower Of Power Horns are performing this evening,
‘sitting in’ with Cleto and Cletones on:
Jimmy Kimmel
February 22 2012
10:00pm Mnt-11:07pm Mnt

What a talented bunch of dedicated musicians. Going 40 years together.
These guys have played with so many great bands, as touring musicians and studio session players.

I can’t even remember who all I’ve seen them grace the stages playing live for, or with on who alls recordings.
It could have been ‘Atlanta Rhythm Section’ , ‘Little River Band’ or even the ‘Doobie Brothers’ on tour.

If you get a chance and are able, check them out.
Really an awesome horn section.

(Sitting in, isn’t showcasing personal talents)

LATE!!! Nothing new here. Never got the promotion or exposure of Chicago, but all the bands knew. They were the ‘Band’s Band’.

Hi Dukester,
I’ve often thought about a marvelous sounding, rather large horn section, with members of: Chicago, Memphis Horns and ofcourse Tower Of Power Horns…

That would be awesome.
Maybe the band leader could be Doc Severinson, or even
If not drinking, Merv’s old horn player Jack…

Most Ultimately, Miles Davis.
