Hello,
I have Cubase LE4 running with Windows 7 64 bit and am not having success with adding a new plugin. I can see HALion 1 and my ezdrummer plugin is working fine, but it does not list my new focusrite suite there when I try to add it. I can see the 4 focusrite plugins in "plugin information box" and the .dll files are right there in the same folder as my ezdrummer.
I just got the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB interface and the plug-ins came with it. The plugin activation instructions tell me to just open it up in my DAW to get to their activation window but I can't get that far!
Thanks for any suggestions!
Herb

Sorry for the Newbie error - I looked at the path under the plugin information and found it under the FX type plugins!
It's good to know that there is a place like this where I can ask my Newbie questions.

Herb,

Do you have the Scarlett Suite plug ins? I experienced some of the same issues getting them to load up on my mac. What version of Cubase are you using and did you get them to load up for activation?

thanks,

John

John,

It is LE4 version 4.0.3 and it shows a date of April 2007. It came with my Zoom HD16 and I have yet to update it because it seems to be working well.
No, don't have the Scarlett Suite. The Focusrite plug-ins for compression, reverb, gating and EQ plus some other plugins came with the Saffire USB 6. Yes, I did get them activated (activating the license for the first one activated all 4). I have played around with the compressor and one of its presets worked very nicely on a bass track that needed help. The Scarlett Suite's graphics look a lot cooler than this free version, but I have so much to learn about this stuff and so little time!
In my version of Cubase, to get to the Focusrite plugins, I hit Project-Add Track-FX Channel-clicked "No Effect" (which brings up the various choices)-the "Earlier VST Plug-ins" which is where my Focusriteplug-ins showed up.
I hope that you have some luck with this and getting your plug-ins to work.
