Was the graphic I uploaded not enough to give you an idea otherwise I can send a blank project because it happens even when I copy and paste tracks from one project to another, however my feeling is that it is to do with having tracks set to Linear Time in the first place but working with them in a musical way. This is a very frustrating issue because it means that I must always "reset" the locators in order to be able to start work on a given file which would seem rather ridiculous at best. I can perhaps make a project file after I've copied the offending information over (tracks) and deleted any parts. It would seem that the issue has nothing to do with any instruments and the like.
