Help on LE4.1.3 and Mac OS X
      05/09/08 03:36 PM

I feel like a dope and I need help. I previously was using LE (old version) with a Win xp laptop and functioned well. My laptop started to die and I made the shift to Mac and got a MacBook Intel Core Duo. With the shift came my having to get a new version of Cubase LE (LE4.1.3) to use with my Lexicon Omega. I record classical music and use two pair of matched mics at times. Doing this on the old Win version was easy. I am having issues with doing it in Mac. I have had a few issues that I'm sure folk in the forum can help:

1. I am getting a static that is constant from time to time and it seems to be any time I mess with VST Connections. It goes away only when I close Cubase and bring it up again.
2. I cannot figure out (maybe when I have time to read the manual I'll get it) on assigning the buses on the individual channels. In other words, I'd like to assign stereo track 1 to bus 1&2 and track 2 to 3&4 so I could record 4 tracks (2 stereo) simultaneously.

There was one other issue, but it I forget what it is. Please help with suggestions.

Thanks,

Karl
