I also have Cubase 4 in Windows Vista 32 and I have had no success whatsoever installing patch banks so they come up in the MIDI device manager. I have a Yamaha S90 and Korg Triton Rack and have tried putting the text file patch banks into just about every directory in the Steinberg, Patchnames, Inactive folder but they just won't show up in the MIDI device manager. When I had Cubase 3 they went in fine into the device manager and were up and running. However I have had no success with Cubase 4 and am thinking maybe there's some bug that needs to be fixed to get these patch banks accessible in Cubase 4.
