Steinbergusers.com: installing cubase AI 4 on Vista

I am having trouble getting Cubase AI4 running on my Vista OS. The DVD seemed to install ok but then when I try and open the program now I get a Syncrosoft License control message that says "..the Soft elicenser serial#******etc. and stored licenses have been disabled. Hardware elicensers are not affected. Contact your software vendors' support for help and reactivation." I went to Steinbergs site and got a reactivation code from the MySteinberg page, tried to reactivate the software with the download license wizard in the LCC and it asked me to choose a target device which there was none to choose from when I clicked on help it said my license maybe "pending" ????
