What version of the operating system are you on? Do the older SE 1 files not import at all, or is it just audio playback? Try switching your asio driver to built-in audio, can you hear playback out of your Mac speakers? Then try switching back to your audio interface to see if you can hear audio playback out of your studio monitors.
