I'm using Guitar Rig as an insert for my guitar tracks and one of the really convenient things is that Cubase records the guitar audio on its own, so I can change Guitar Rig sounds later on at will. My problem now is that if I use a WahWah pedal or the volume foot controller, that stuff doesn't get recorded. Is there a way to record the Guitar Rig track as if I had a mic on front of the speaker? In other words, not just the raw guitar sound, but teh finished processed sound? Thanks!

Hello,
I'm sorry but CS4 does not have the ability to run plugins on the insert of the input.
However, if you put the Guitar Rig plugin into Automation (R and W buttons), this might capture the data you are looking for with playback (sorry I don't have the physical guitar rig box to test this with).
I hope this helps.

Thanks - I think the Automation trick should work.
Since I have two sound cards, I might also try running Guitar Rig in standalone mode against on the cards and then using that as the input into Cubase and just record audio.
Anyway, thanks!
