I am using Cubase LE 1.08 that was bundled with Inspire 1394. I have successfully recorded several times, but had some problems at startup. A few days ago, I tried to start a new project a dozen times and couldn't get it going. The software loads, after I click on New project and a directory, I get the message: A SERIOUS ERROR HAS OCCURRED - PLEASE TRY SAVING YOUR SONG UNDER ANOTHER NAME THEN RESTART CUBASE. IF PROBLEM PERSISTS CONTACT CUBASE SUPPORT AND ATTACH LOG.
I can't attach log to this post.
When I get past this it works great, and in past sessions, after re-trying several times, everything would be okay. I just can't continue to shut down and restart a dozen times to get going.
Would appreciate help!

Do you get this message when opening an existing project? Also, do you get the message when opening a new empty project?

Go to Start-->Programs-->Cubase LE-->Application Data Folder
With Cubase closed, remove all the files and folders in here. Next, uninstall Cubase LE from Control Panel and re-install it from the cd. Make sure you have the latest updates for your sound card/interface.
Let me know if this helps you open a new project. If you can open new projects but existing projects still have the error then they are likely corrupt. In this case it might be needed that you copy the contents of the projects and paste them into new projects and somewhat take a fresh start on them.
