Here are the settings in LE 4 for Metronome. Seem just fine. I can't hear the click track but do hear record and playback. It does the precount just fine, just no sound on either record or playback. Check out the attached Screen shot

You can correct this under VST Connections under the click column. Click your mouse just below the word "Click" in the far right column. You have to let your output know to play the click. Not very intuitive adn no reference to this in the manual. Presonus Technician Frasier got back to me with this info. Great support of PreSonus and they make great products. Now as long as I continue to get playback sound I can hear the click. That is another issue. Intermittent audio playback adn record with FireStudio 26x26 and LE4. It is LE4 since LE1.1 works just fine.

Are you referring to audio being choppy? Dropping in and out? How often does this happen? I assume you have the latest Presonus drivers installed? Do you verified with Presonus that your firewire port has a compatible chipset for the Firestudio?

Good point. Not choppy, non existent. Once it works it works just fine sometimes it just has no record or playback but yet levels are fine when I go to the FS Control Panel. So the FS is being recognized by my computer or else I wouldn't see levels in CP. All drivers and CP are updated as well as LE4.

Have you tried increasing the buffer size on the control panel for your Presonus interface to 256 or higher?

it is 512. Recorded beautifully yesterday and nothing today. Levels are good with CP but no levels in LE4. This is what I mean about this. I will reboot and restart adn hope to get it back. Very frustrating when you have little time to lay down some ideas. It is not the presonus.
