I'm new to cubase. not sure if this is the right area to post. After initially taking back the omega 2.0 with cubase 4 thinking it didn,t work with my 800 mhz G4, I was encouraged to give it another try. I was able to get it to record and play back! @ooking forward to do some actual music making.

A G4 800 is on the low end of what can run Cubase but it should be able to record and playback alright. You will run into CPU issues if you try and run many insert plugins.

I know. I felt fortunate to get it to work at all. I have been able to record two rhythm guitar tracks a doubled lead vocal and two harmony parts with no problem. I can add most of the fx selections except for the reverb. The reverb pegs the vst meter for some reason - Big drag because of all things I would like to have some type of reverb!
