Good day, I am new to the forum. I have a small recording studio in my basement, fairly well equiped.
My question is this: I hae installed IK MUltimedia Miroslav Philharmonik. I can see it in the audio library (I have a Macbook Pro) and I can play it through my Key Rig through my studio monitors, but can't record with it.
I can't find any information on how to record using this sofrware. I can use Halion and Prologue but the effects don't show up when leading presets from the Library.
Please help! I have contacted Steinberg but haen't heard back from them yet.
Thanks very much!

Regarding the presets, you can 'trash the preferences' and then restart Cubase. To do this, Open the Library folder on your hard driver and then the Preferences folder. Delete the Cubase folder in the Preferences folder. Once this folder is deleted, Cubase will recreate this preferences folder when it you open it again and the presets should appear.
Regarding your recording issue with Miroslav, Make sure that you have the MIDI input on the MIDI track assigned to the keyboard that you have connected to your computer and Miroslav selected as the MIDI out. Also be sure that the record enable button is selected on the MIDI track.
Hope this helps.

Hi Brad! thank so much for your suggestions. I will try this out tonight and see how it goes. I am having the same problem with Focusrite Liquid Mix. Would the same apply to this hardware/software combination? Cheers and thank you!!!

Trashing the Cubase 4 preferences should not effect whether or not your Liquid presets are accessible unless their presets are stored in the Cubase 4 preferences folder.

Not true, Mediabay's scanned folders file and others are in there and can become corrupt.
Trashing Prefs, going through Mediabay and un-checking any non-Daw folders and letting Mediabay re-scan sorts at LOT of issues.
