I work in a music shop in New Zealand I sold Sequel to a guy who has the following. HP Lap Top, 2 Gig Ram, Running Vista, 1.6 Duel Core Processer. Sequel is limited only by the power of your CPU. Also, be sure that your friend has the latest Sequel update installed from www.steinberg.net I would also make sure your friend has the latest device driver downloaded and installed for his interface from the manufacturer's website.
