Changing tempo of a drum loop
      #7060 - 05/29/08 06:14 PM

How does one change a drum loop tempo in essential 4? In cubase le I used to import a loop and then audio process> time stretch to whatever tempo I wanted. CE4 will not allow this. I'm sure I'm missing something basic but could someone give me a hand?

Thanks

You can do it like this in Essential 4. In the pool when you expand out your pool audio folder you will see a straighten up column and a check box for each audio file. Select whatever audio files you want to be effected by the change. Now adjust the tempo either by adjusting the tempo track or switching the tempo selection to fixed and just adjusting the tempo for the over all project.

Thanks

Cool--I'll give that a try. I knew it would be easy. I just need to sit down and read the 300+ page manual.
