OK..First I want to say how much fun I had completing my first song with my AI4! After I slowed down and read the instructions everything went a little smoother. LOL. The only thing I have left is to fade out the ending. This is my dilemma, I can’t make heads nor tails of the Operations Manual..lol. So, I’ll explain what I have and maybe someone can help. I’m sure it’s something simple. My brain is just not getting to it.
Objective: Fade Out last 5 bars of song.I’m finding I cant get the Instrument Tracks to fade for some reason.
Here is how the tracks are set up by number and type:
1 Instrument Track - Strings 2 Instrument Track -Drums 3 Mono Track - Lead Vocals 4 Mono Track - Back up Vocals 5 Mono Track - Acoustic Guitar 6 Instrument Track - Bass
After I fade out to the end I am ready to export. I have completed a trial export but the song just ends abruptly. Please keep in mind I'm not a tecno whizz....lol

Hello,
VST instrument tracks are MIDI and audio processing a fade out will not work. You need to use automation in order to fade out a MIDI track or the instruments audio fader.
Thank You,

Thanks a lot!! I read the section in the user manual on automation and did some experimenting and was able to fade out the way I wanted! I love my Cubase AI4!
