I've installed essential 4 without problems but now I cannot seem to load the sound banks to Halion one. I've tried the right click "Locate Files" step several times to no avail. I'd very much like to use Halion (based on positive reviews and that I have it at my disposal). Any other suggestions?

Open Media Bay and do a complete re-scan of your C:\ drive and Soundframe. First, go through the folder tree and un-check any folders that aren't relevant.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.

I found the GM sound banks in the VST3 folder by using Media Bay (cool feature, by the way). After locating the files I clicked OK on each and still nothing. Halion One just sits there and does not respond to anything I do and does not have any sound banks loaded. What now?

At the bottom of Mediabay is Soundframe. Let that rescan, also. HalionOne installs the data files to All Users-Docs and Settings- App Data- Steinberg after the updates. It's a hidden file so you have to set it to show. Make sure Mediabay scans that folder.

Also, when you open HALion One, you can right click on the HALion One logo at the lower right corner in the HALion One window and select Locate Content. You can then browse and select the folder that contains the content for HALion One.

Wow. I'm not sure what I just did but Halion is up and running (and very cool I might add). Thank you very much for your help.
