Say you have a track recorded with a 2-sided conversation, but all you want is one side. You've gone through and deleted one side of the conversation, leaving lots of gaps in the track. Is there a command that allows you to close up all the gaps in a track without having to manually drag and drop all of the segments together?

You should use the Range Tool to highlight the parts and then go Shift-Backspace to Delete Time as you're going through making the edits.
You can do it now by highlighting the spaces.

That was a very useful tip and will be helpful in other projects. Thank you! However ... I can only close one gap at a time using that method, and you have to be VERY precise to get the parts to meet, end to end. Is there a tool that will remove all the blank spaces in one track, placing all the parts together, back to back, without changing, overlapping, or removing any of the existing segments?

Since Le4 is a limited in the features it has, that is probably the best of doing it in LE4.
Thanks
