Question about Cubase Essential 4
      #6639 - 04/23/08 07:44 PM

I'm a DJ and I made a few demo's using cubase se 3 but then upgraded my computer and got vista so I had to upgrade to Essential 4. I also recently bought wavelab 6 for the crossgrade price so I got a good deal on it but I'm not made of money so I'm just wondering If I really need wavelab. I havent recieved it yet its still in the mail so I'm just trying to see if I can do everything in Essential 4 or do I need Wavlab too.

Wavelab has a lot of different functions from CE4. First of all, it can burn a red book CD. It can also do CD Text, DVD-Audio, etc. But its main function is as a mastering tool. It has plugins and meters built for mastering which could be very helpful.
