Hi Brad,
I appreciate the information and yes I followed those steps you outlined which I understand provides emulated MIDI ports which may in effect increase the overall latency of the system, which is the reason why I currently have no hardware interface in use.
I don't know if it's an issue to change subject in a particular post but without me starting a new subject, I have noticed the folder track behaviour has changed in relation to MIDI tracks in that some notes can be hidden by others and it's somewhat difficult to determine which is at the "top" of the stack.
I'd like to know if the order of notes in multiple selected parts could be improved in order so one does not have to guess or resort to part names in editors and that when navigating down tracks (which I have mentioned in a prior post) the natural order is maintained.
Thank you

If a port says "emulated" next to it, it does not effect the overall latency of your audio.
If you have MIDI events that are overlapping, you can right click on the event and select the Move To option. Then you will have options to move the event to the front, to the back or to the cursor.

Hello again,
I am wondering now why there would be a difference when navigating down the list of tracks in a project, between a MIDI track and an Instrument Track in that the Inspector view changes notwithstanding Folder Tracks?
Thanks again

Are you referring to the options differences between an instrument track and a Midi track?
Thanks

Hi Jeff,
I am aware that there are different options for both Instrument and MIDI tracks and that there will be some features which are shared and some which aren't and that this in itself can lead to inconsistency of the user interface, however I have noticed that some changes in this regard have been made, which make the presentation appear more consistent, as well as usable across the board and I am very pleased as a result.
I'd now like to see the Inspector status remain unchanged when selecting subsequent MIDI and Instrument tracks because I do feel in this regard that even if any child controls are different between the various track types notwithstanding Folder Tracks, that the main container should be in the same state and that implementing my request would again improve on the usability of the program generally.
Thank you
