Anyone know why I don't have a Plug ins option in my audio menu? I am trying to apply a plug in effect to the track directly as shown on page 497 in the Cubase 4 Power book.

Hello,
I don't have the cubase 4 power book, but the plugins option menu for offline processing is only available in Cubase 4. Do you have Cubase Studio 4? Thank you.

Yeah, I have Studio 4. I didn't realize it lacked so many things that Cubase 4 has. I even studied the comparison chart before my purchase. Kinda sucks in a big way.

Sorry shelly, you can always upgrade from www.steinbergupgrades.com to get all the features of C4.
In this scenario, if I was you, I would take the section that I wanted to process, edit it, move it to a new audio track, add the plugins and then freeze the track. I hope this helps. Thank you.

I will try that and thanks for the concern and help, this forum really has been fabulous, I'm just frustrated about not being able to do what I fully expected to be able to do.
