I would suggest increasing your buffer size on the audio interface's software control panel. That could be it, thank you very, very much. I'll check it out and report my results. I'm using the Fw-1082 although I can't get the transport controls to work in Cubase. I have to use the mouse rather than the controls on the Tascam fw-1082. I cannot figure out how to get Cubase to use it as a remote. I've tried to set Cubase to different sample rates, and everything from 16 bit to 32 bit floating, always the same. It sounds like old record static.
