Brand new user and I'm excited about the play order feature to allow me to sequence in a non-linear style. I watched a video tutorial but was unable to make this happen. I was able to open an arranger track but not sure what to do after that. Also, Everything seemed to go good when I loaded Cubase, but Halion is not working. Is there another step that I need to take? If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate the help.
Thanks for the help, Justin

You use the draw tool in the arranger track to draw different sections like A,B,C, etc. Once you draw/mark different sections of your project you can sequence the sections of your project in any order you like with the arranger track.
How exactly is Halion not working?

Thanks for responding Kyle. First, if I load in a Standard Midi File, for each track that opens and has a sound associated with that track, a message will say, "Halion could not load bass", and "Halion could not load piano" and so on for all the tracks. I am able to click on the instrument and actually view the rack style picture of the actual Halion Player. When I try to load a sound it tells me the same thing, "Could not find or load preset Atmosphere". Any thoughts?
And on the Arranger, is there any where that you can point me that will allow me to read the step by step instructions on how to use this feature? Because I'm still not able to figure this out. One of the tutorials labeled "Play order track", showed the ability to right click somewhere and a "play order" section would open up. I am not able to reproduce this no matter what i do. It looks so simple. This is such a cool function, and the reason that I purchased "Essential", and I know I will be able to use this. But for know I'm just trying to learn how! And honestly, I'm not computer idiot. Thanks for helping me.

Also, on the Halion issue. If I replace Halion with one of my many plug ins, they all play just fine. I would really like to use Halion to make it much easier when loading in a standard midi file. I have tons of midi files from using Opcode's Studio Vision, and therefore would like to finally put that program to rest and move over to Cubase.

Halion Issue Solved!! I needed to right click on the Halion Player and "locate contents" appears. I then had to load the Halion Library and now all seems to be working fine. Great! Now only one more issue (Play Order-Arranger) and I'm ready to dive right into this.
