Hi there, Very new to Cubase, only type of music production I have exposure to is FruityLoops demo version. My computer runs on MS Windowns XP,usin Intel Pentium 1.70GHz, 504MB of RAM, I dont have a problem loading up the Cubase, I run into a problem when I try to record, or playback, primary time display does not seem to ingage or work, I tried clicking play, hitting spacebar, nothing. I'm sure it is something simple that I'm missing here, any pointers?
Also I have a MOBILEPRE audio interface which I am running my ST51 FET CONDENSER MIC into, I can hear the mic working fine through the MOBILEPRE, but I cant hear anything in CUBASE, its like Cubase is not recognizing sound at all, Please if someone can help me!!!
Basically I dont see anything playing back or can I hear anything while in CUBASE, I imported a song to edit, and the song shows in channel 1 for example but I cant get it to start or playback, I can see the artwork showing the soundpatterns but I cant get the program to initiate playback

Hello,
Inside CS4, go to Devices, Device Setup, VST Audio System. What do you have selected as the ASIO driver? What is the input latency set to?
Are your speakers connected to your Mobile Pre? Inside of Cubase, go to Devices, VST Connections, Inputs. What do you have available under the device port? Which input on the Mobile Pre have you connected the microphone? Thank you.
