My O2R wont control my cubase 4 for some reason, and also the waveforms on cubase have turned WHITE!!! what might be causing this??? i have a session in like 45 minutes, and any help would be nice. THANKS!!!

Thanks for writing. Depending how your 02R is connected to your computer (MIDI connections) you need to go to the following:
Open Cubase. Devices>Device Setup>Remote Devices.
Now, click the + sign about this dialogue box and choose Yamaha 02R.
You then need to set the MIDI in and out to the ports your 02R is set up. Also, make sure the "enable auto select" is checked.
As far as the color of the wave form, check the settings under the following.
File>Preferences>Event Display>Audio
You have several choices there. Let me know what develops and good luck!

i was able to control the transport again using the O2R but not everything on the console works with cubase ex: scrub wheel, and the play and record lights....im pretty sure it has somthing to do with MIDI but could you tell me how your MIDI ins/outs are set up?
