hello my friends!!.. my name is Lucho and I'm building an studio, the good thing is that Nuendo 4 (Mac) is the main-brain, big day are coming because my studio will be brand new and the future is in from of me, I'm going to be recording to 96 kHz, is not my last resort but is the one now my AD-DA's are up to. The issue here is that what i can have from the manual is that the 32 bit float is recommended to record when you are recording with FX and that all the internal processing is happening at that resolution to, if I'm sampling sounds from external synths and audio files passing trough external FX, and then mixing with Waves plugs and UAD powered plugs, and i know that they all work in 32 bit internal processing and more!.. if i dont have any issue with the CPU load the the 96 kHz and the 32 bits require, do you think that the right resolution should be 32 bit, can you let me know something about it, some recommendations and thing tho wave in mint when i get brain-stormed with the truncation myths!!.. thanks!!.. Lucho

We recommend that you record at 32bit floating point. Doing this allows you to record audio at a higher level with out distortion which means that you're able to record at a higher resolution. If you take advantage of the extra headroom you get in 32bit floating point, it will sound better.
