What up erbody I need some help. I'm working on this song and i'm trying to sample a voice from another record. in cubase, Im doing an insert from audio cd, and it allows me to somewhat set the bars to the area of the song that I want. after clicking "grab" and then "Ok" it does go into my cubase song but I can only cut so much of the audio. is there a better way to audio sample(stretch and pitch)? Is there any free sampling software that might be more easier to use? I dont sample music a whole lot and this one thing is really pulling me behind. Any help would be greatly appreciated....Sorry if im confusing.

Cubase does not have a sampling instrument, but you can take bars out of cds, etc. Once you have the rough area imported into Cubase you can resize and edit the audio to fit your needs. As far as isolating a drum track and removing vocals from the clip that is not really going to be possible.
