Creating rolled piano chords w/ Key Editor
      #4409 - 10/22/07 07:16 PM

Hi:

What's the easiest way of creating a rolled piano chord (either up or down)in Cubase 4? Should one use the Key Editor? Could you take me through creating a rolled simple triad?

Thanks!

Eric

A quick way to create a rolled chord in the key editor would be to use the Trim tool. In the operation manual on page 297, there is an overview of how to use the trim tool to cut MIDI events quickly with one swipe of the cursor. You'd want to change the preferences to cut the beginning of the MIDI events so you could create a rolled chord.

Hope this helps.
