I am having trouble with cubase AI4. I am a total new user, so any help would be appreciated. I bought a yamaha motif XS8 and set it up through firewire (mlan). Cubase recognizes it. The problem is, I can only get midi to be recognised. I need realisitic sounds off the XS, not midi sounds. When I recorded a bunch of midi, and tried to convert it using a midi to mp3 converter (Keep in mind I'm a noobie), I quickly found out the hard way that it sounds terrible! Is there any way to record as an audio track, and get my realistic sounds? I'm really stuck here, and help would be appreciated.
