hello,
i recently installed nuendo 2 and been busy with it since. however, i cant seem to open the key editor because almost al of those options (under the MIDI menu) are grey, instead of black. iv'e added a miditrack, and all settings are done (as far as i know). i checked both the "getting started" and the "operation manual" (700 PAGES!!!) but i just cant find anything that would indicate iv'e missed something.
so does anyone know what could be the reasons for those MIDI options (key editor) being grey?
tnx

The MIDI options are greyed out becuase you have no MIDI event on the MIDI track. You can create an empty MIDI event by setting the start and end point locators on the ruler and double clicking on the MIDI track in the blue field between the start and end point locators. This will create a blank MIDI event that you can then go in and edit.
Hope this helps.
