Hissing in MP3

WAVE LAB QUESTION: After mixing down in Cubase and importing into Wave Lab my mix sounds fine. After creating an MP3 of the same song I hear a metallic treble hiss. What am I doing wrong?

Does it have the same hiss when you export it as a .wav file? Thank you.
