Tagging Tracks

i am new, i would like to know does anyone know if WAVELAB 6 actually tags tracks so that when the CD is burned and used on another device, the track, artist, and album are displayed to the user ?
If not is there a program out there does just that?

Hello,
Wavelab does burn CD-Text, which will allow you specify the tracks, artist, album, etc. This will read in CD players that read CD-Text (usually modern car stereos). However, it is worth mentioning, Windows Media Player and iTunes do not read CD-Text. To get their information they access CDDB. You would need to submit your material there to have it be read by WMP and iTunes. I hope this information helps.
