I just purchased VG2 and am trying to use it with my Logic setup. However, after installing, I noticed that VG2 was only tested as an AU plugin for Logic 7.1.1; I have Logic 7.0.1. Even still, I attempted to use it as a standalone through ReWire. When I use the app as a standalone, I am able to fully use it. When I open it as a slave program to Logic, I am only able to play the sound samples. When I press keys on the MIDI controller, no MIDI registers on the VG2. It does, however, register on Logic, but no sound is played. Will this program work, either as an AU or as a standalone through ReWire? If so, how can I set it up so that I am able to get sound and record? Please reply to luannawilliams@gmail.com.

Any chance you could post what the solution was? Trying to use VG with Rewire and can't get it to work...
I am a Cubase user... but I have a client who wants a song done in Pro Tools but I just can't get Pro Tools to work with VG.
Is there any documentation out there?

No erros, I just don't see the VG rewire option in Pro Tools

Are you on an Intel mac? If so make sure you have the universal Binary Update for VG2
|

Intel Mac, yes. I've tried updating but I always get an error and can never get it installed.
Looked through the readme files and followed the update instructions step-by-step... no luck.
Any thing I can do here?

Try re-downloading the update and installing again.

We've spoken to a couple of other people with a similar issue with protools. Looking into it further. i will post here when i have an update.

This isn't a "Pro Tools" issue... My issue is with the ability to update Virtual Guitarist on my Intel Mac. For some reason I can't run the updater.
Can you help please?

What specific error are you receiving during the install?, What version of the OS are you running? The update is a full install minus the content. So if you installed for the disc and then tried running the update, try uninstalling the program and then run the update. That should get things installed.
