groove agent 3- pops/ scratches/ clicks...

I am having issues with GA3. i use Cubase Studio 4, and pretty much every time I use GA3, I get random scratchy sounds, pops, etc.
I am not sure why this is happening. I don't experience this when I am recording any other instruments.
Please advise, thanks-

What do you have your buffer size set to? You probably want to try raising that first.

i am on a pc, and my current
"retrospective buffer size" is set to 10,000 events, which i believe is the default amount, as i have never changed it yet.
