Tracking issue

When I record an audio track and want to start recording at a certain point i put the marker there and then hit record. Cubase then jumps back a few ticks and starts recording from there. Does anyone have anything on this? Thanks for the help!

On your transport bar in the 'locators' section make sure the pre-roll button is turned off.
