New Computer--Old Project Files

Recently bought a new Mac. I have Cubase project files from my old PC and am having a hard time opening them. When I go to open a project file, I get the prompt--"record could not be enabled, because there is no input. Open the input window and enable the desired input" Suggestions?

Cubase LE is not supported or written for new Intel Macs. You will need a version 4 of Cubase for this computer. Generally, this error results in not having an input activated under Devices-->VST Inputs. Otherwise, it is hard to tell why you are getting this error because LE (1) was written for G4 and G5 Macs.

Not sure my last post went up. Wondering if there is anything I can do shy of purchasing Cubase 4 to get the program up and running on my iMac?

Along the lines of this topic, I am looking for an LE driver for Win Vista. Or if anyone is running it successfully, was there anything special on setup that needed to be done different that Win XP?

I have never tried running LE in Vista as it is not supported and built on a much older version of Cubase. Your best bet with Vista is to get a version of Cubase that is compatible with Vista.

Cubase Essential 4 and Studio 4 will also work so you do not necessarily need the full Cubase 4 for your machine.
