cubase le running on a dell laptop-windows vista

when recording a track with the click track, the recording stops or is interuppted. the click track goes silent, then restarts again a few bars later. meanwhile, my guitar track has stopped.

Cubase LE is not supported or designed for Vista and will likely cause many issues. How long have you had Cubase LE?
