Audio Mixdown error

I am getting an error message when trying to get a mixdown. I do not get any further info. I do not know where to look for the problem?
I have had no probs in the past. Any suggestions?

Make sure the locators aren't backwards.

It was the automated fader. I have to read up on this, it wont take.
