Audio Quantizing to 120 BPM

I have an audio track which is sung by a singer ( no instruments) without the metronom with variable tempo ( 120 +/- 5 BPM). I have read 50 pages of the manual to fix the tempo changes to 120BPM. I know I have to use time stretch and Time/Audio Warp to fix this. But I need a clear strategy to do this.

I guess first, I need to slice the song into smaller tracks, say 4 bar tracks and then fix them and glue them together.

I need to have a clear step by step instruction please.

I appreciate your help.

CS

I am using Nuendo 4 the latest version on WinXP professional.

Re: Audio Quantizing to 120 BPM

Since you don't have a prominent drum beat in the file this will be very hard. You would adjust this in the sample editor. What version of Nuendo are you using?

Thanks

Re: Audio Quantizing to 120 BPM

Thanks Jeff. I learned the answer using Time Wrap and adopted it for N4 somehow. I will post how i did that.

I found also two other amazing approaches coverd in the "getting started" manual. Chapter 8.

I started to like Nuendo again.
