audio offset

hey gang, what is this in the infoline that say offset?... i dont know what is going on but when I'm trying to cut measures of an audio file the files are not cut and the bar-line, even if I have Quantize set to bar!! the have like an offset and i find out in the info line for the audio files that say: offset, and this parameter it is not actually in the Operation Manual, there is a list of things that may appear in the infoline but this is not there!.. I'm gonna search for some manual update, this is really bad issue i need to solve, and hey!!.. hey!!.. nobody answers me back the previous comment about the MIDI issue!!.. pleas guys, I'm working my us behind this wheal and i go crazy if I cant get the answer!!.. help!! .. Nuendo 4.1.3 Build 853 Mac Intel

Hello,

The offset shows you how much of the start of the file is not being shown. When you edit a wave file you should see a change in the offset. Do you have the snap control turned on or off? Thank you.

may the i was in Snap off mode but i don't actually remember, i will be doing some editing next week so if i get blocked again i'll let you know what's wrong!!.. thanks!!

ok Chris, here I'm back in this issue and i clearly find out what the problem was!.. i was actually working in snap mode on, but also in Snap to Zero Crossing too!.. so when i was trying to cut and the beginning of the measure the system performed the cut in the closer Zero crossing point i attach a photo of the example so you can see!! not big issue but i was really frustrated for some minutes!!
