Can tempo track use data from imported MIDI file?
|

I just installed Cubase Studio 4 and imported a MIDI File (type 0) that has tempo changes in it. In Cubase LE, I could easily setup the tempo track to use the tempo data in the MIDI File. I can't figure out how to get Studio 4 to do the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello,
As far as I am aware, the tempo track of a project is a complete separate entity to any midi or otherwise performace data and therefore no, it is not recognised.

That is correct, you would not be able to be import that information to the tempo track.
