Cubase Studio 4 inputs
|
|
Thinking about upgrading from Cubase LE to Cubase Studio 4. Comparison chart says 128 inputs, but what is the number of simultaneous inputs (128?). Have two firepods, used with P4 2.2 Ghz and Mac. Will I get at least 16 simultaneous?

The chart is saying you can record 128 inputs simultaneously (if you have the hardware to support that!). You will be able to record all 16 inputs simultaneously in Studio 4 no problem (or as many as your hardware will support up to 128).

Thanks! Looks like I wouldn't be able to open pre-existing LE songs in Cubase Studio 4 for mixdown. How difficult is it to import the WAV/aiff track files to re-mix in Studio 4?

Actually, Studio 4 will open LE projects just fine.
Look at this compatibility chart
Once it is saved in 4, you cannot open it in LE again.
