Exception in the Module, Help?

Hello, I just bought Cubase Studio 4 (4.0.3) and I continue to have crashes. I get the msg. "exception found in the module Cubase Studio 4". My Mac OS is 10.4.9 Any ideas.
Also, should I update OS X to 10.4.10 I have been avoiding it since I don't know what will happen with Cubase if I do?

You can try verifying and repairing disc permissions. To do this, open the hard drive on the desktop and open the Applications folder. Then open the Utilities folder. In the Utilities folder, click on the Disk Utility icon. Once you are there, make sure your main hard driver is selected in the right column and select the Verify and then the Repair buttons to the right in that order. Also, there should not be any problem with updating to 10.4.10.
