Greetings all - I'm rocking Cubase LE4 right now and am seriously contemplating upgrading to Cubase Essential 4. What I need however is to know what I'll be able to do with virtual instruments. For example. In Cubase LE1 I could send multiple midi inputs to a virtual instrument. In Cubase LE4 I cannot. In Cubase LE1 I could get multiple output channels from a virtual instrument. In Cubase LE4 I cannot. What will I be able to do in Cubase Essential 4? Thanks in advance, RS P.S. An unrelated question: I'm trying to cut some music for a dancer and need to hold out a particular note. Can Cubase increase the duration of a particular clip without altering the pitch that much? |

In Essential 4 you will be able to have multiple instrument outputs and sending multiple midi tracks to the same instrument. It depends how long you want to hold the note. I would suggest time stretching in the sample editor. Thanks |
