cloner pops

i'm getting pops when i use the cloner effect. it doesnt seem to happen with any other effect and it happens no matter what output

Are pops happening throughout the effect or just when it starts and ends?

the pops happen when signal comes through the effect

The workaround listed at steinberg.net is to increase the buffer.
