moving automation with wave files

I am running Cubase sx 1 not 4 but coulld not find a more specific posting page. I would like to move autmoation with my wave files. How can this be done without having to remix everything.

You can view any automation written to a track in the automation lane. This is found by expanding the track (looks like a + sign.) Use the pencil tool to write new automation points, or select and delete certain points.

There's a Pref, Automation Follows Events that can be checked. Also, you can choose Show All Used Automation and use the Range Tool to select the wave and automation for copy and paste.
