Hi, I installed 4.13 a while back and just yesterday I realised that the HalionOne content was missing (I rarely use HalionOne). So I followed a couple of suggestions here and uninstalled then re-installed Cubase as follows: 1. Un-install Cubase 4 2. Install Cubase 4 from DVD. I specified that I wanted the HalionOne content to be on a separate drive (H:\HalionOneContent) 3. Install Cubase 4.13 patch file. OK. Back to 4.13, but the content was missing. I searched the C:\ drive and it wasn't there either. So... 1. Un-install Cubase 4 2. Install Cubase 4 from DVD. This time with default HalionOne folder. 3. Install Cubase 4.13 patch file. OK. Back to 4.13 and the content is there, but not where I want it. So I copied the HSBs to the H:\HalionOne folder. -However-, the HalionOne content is the same as that on the DVD so it's got all the tuning problems. So... 1. Un-install Cubase 4 2. Install Cubase 4 from DVD. This time with default HalionOne folder. 3. Install Cubase 4.1 patch file. 4. Install Cubase 4.13 patch file. Again: Back to 4.13. What -that- seems to do is wipe out the content from the Steinberg\VSTPlugIns\HalionOne folder but does NOT install the fixed HSBs. 1. How the <bleep>- do I get the fixed content installed? This is like my 5th attempt at install/uninstall/etc... Do I have to install -every- patch? It's not like I use HalionOne all that often, but still... 2. Even better: Is there a place I can just DOWNLOAD the updated content and screw all this install/uninstall crapola? TIA, ---JC |

Just for clarification you need to install 4.1, 4.1.2, THEN 4.1.3 You can drag the HalionOne content off the DVD from the Additional Content/Soundframe/HalionOne SoundBanks folder. Once you copy this onto your hard drive where you want it, just right click on the HalionOne plugin interface and choose 'locate contents' and locate the directory you put the content in. |
