I just upgraed from Studio 4 to Cubase 4 and when I try to load any of the new HALionOne instruments I get a message that reads, "HALionOne: Cannot Find or Load Preset!" What do I need to do to get these new (to me) and exciting instruments to come up on a project? Thanks, Scott |

What operating system are you on? Did you update to Cubase 4.1.2? If you are on XP try and go to Start-->All Programs-->Cubase 4-->Application Data. In the folder that pops up remove all files and folders to the trash. This should reset your preferences and may fix your HalionOne issue. |

Yes I'm using XP and I did do the update to Cubase 4.1.2. I tried what you suggested and the preferences were reset but I'm still getting the message "HALionOne: Cannot Find or Load Preset..." when I try to load an instrument preset from the HALionOne list. The presets that I can't retrieve are the ones that are not found in Studio 4. Thank you, Scott |

Right click the HalionOne interface and choose to locate content. Navigate to this folder C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 4\Vstplugins\Synths\ In Synths choose the folder HalionOneHSB |

That did the trick, For some reason the HALionOne soundbank file was not in the correct place. Glad to be part of CB4 crowd!! |

Hello, Are you having the problem with HalionOne? or Virtual instrument collection? If the content for your HalionOne is missing or broken, please follow these steps: PC 1. Insert your Cubase disc. Explore the disc and go to Cubase for Windows, Additional Content, Soundframe, HalionOne Soundbanks. Copy the HalionOne Soundbanks folder from your disc to your hard drive (we recommend putting it in the C:/Program Files/Common Files/Steinberg folder). 2. Open Cubase, load HalionOne. Right click on HalionOne and choose "Locate Content." Select the HalionOne Soundbanks folder that you copied to your hard drive. Now you should be able to load sounds into HalionOne. |
