Hello,

The cause for the 2 second gap is a preference. Are you setting this up in Basic Audio CD or Audio Montage? In their case there are preferences for the gap:

Basic Audio CD - Go to the pull down menu in the top left corner, preferences, and you can set the gap accordingly.

Audio Montage - On the CD tab, in the CD Wizard Menu (CD with Magic Wand) you can determine the gaps.
