Home studio, using Presonus Firebox into Cubase SE3 on Win XP.
The signal into Cubase from a Dynamic mic for vocals seems very weak. Is there a Cubase software setting that can increase sensitivity, or is a vocal pre-amp needed or preferred. Yes, I'm using the Phantom power boost for the Firebox?? Suggestions on low cost vocal pre-amps for no more that 4 vocal inputs?
