wow. i'm having the same problem. all the mic tests work fine through the presonus, but when it comes to the simple task of recording the input into Cubase LE4, it falls flat. Sounds like from what I'm reading that this was the wrong thing to buy.

With the way licensing is so tight, I can't even use the Firestudio with my laptop unless I buy a license for another DAW software. At least I know Cakewalk works with it.
